UPDATE: 1 person arrested at Pandora Avenue in Victoria, road reopened

Victoria Police had Pandora Avenue at Blanshard Street on Thursday afternoon, June 20.

UPDATE 4:10 p.m.

One person has been taken into custody safely according to police. 

It's still unknown at this time what caused the closure.

Pandora Avenue has reopened.

A police presence had the 900-block of Pandora Avenue closed for a police incident on Thursday afternoon (June 20).

The reason for the closure is unknown at this time.

Dozens of police personel were on scene, including the Greater Victoria Emergency Response team (GVERT) .
