Saanich police are looking for 30-year-old woman, described as "high-risk," who was last seen in the morning of Tuesday, June 25.

The woman has been found safe at Dairy Queen on Quadra Street around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, according to Saanich Police. She was supposedly there for eight hours.

She was transported home safely.

The Saanich Police Department is looking for a "high-risk" missing person who was possibly last seen in Downtown Victoria.

The 30-year-old middle eastern woman named Shakiba was described by police as 5-feet, wearing a brown shirt and black jeans. She was not wearing shoes when she left her house and she is known to travel by transit.

[She] moved into a new residence near [Inverness Road and Tolmie Avenue] yesterday and wandered off on Tuesday, June 25 around 11:15 a.m.

"The female operates intellectually as a pre-teen and does not speak English," noted a release from Saanich PD.

There was a possible sighting of her around 2:15 p.m. near Douglas and Yates Streets, however police were unable to find her and confirm the sighting.

Members of the public are asked to immediately call police at 250-475-4321 if she is sighted.
